My Response To The Sporting News
I have recently gone onto myspace, and when I'm bored, I scour onto the forums. I've been to two forums so far: the University of Michigan one and Sportbikechat, because I'm planning to get a motorcycle next summer and I'm trying to get more info on what kind I should buy. On the UM forums an alum posted some bullshit talk the Sporting News had in their football preview:

(for the Sporting News' annual college football preview they asked another anonymous Big Ten coach to comment on Michigan)
"They are a physical team, and they are extremely talented, but they don't show up every week. I think they're pompous, over-recruited arrogant-type kids. Michigan really is the only school in our league that recruits nationally. Michigan can go to California or Florida and get a blue-chip player...Which school has better players, Ohio State or Michigan? Michigan. If you lined them up and had them run 40-yard dashes and took them into the weight room and had them bench press and power clean, yeah, they are better than Ohio State. Markedly better. The Michigan kid has more talent, but the Ohio State kids played harder. And to me, that's a microcosm of the two programs."

Ohio State.... please... They are OVERRATED. Are every single year and never should have won in the fiesta bowl against miami a few years back. Expect Hart to tear it up.

The only reason Ohio State beat us was because Jim Hermann is an idiot and has no clue on how to stop a running quarterback. It's been our problem for years on end.
The reason we can go to different states and recruit five-star players nationwide is because, well.. we're only the team with the most wins in Division 1-A history, we only have the biggest stadium ever, we only have an alum by the name of Tom Brady and an alum by the name of Desmond Howard who is on the cover of NCAA 06, we're the only Big Ten team ranked in the top five this year, and we're only predicted to win the Big Ten. So boo hoo to the other ten teams, they can bow to us on their knees and suck it.

Fuck the Sporting News, who reads their low-grade newspaper shit? All they're good for is wiping asses and for hobos to burn for heat. And if Ohio State players really played harder, then the series record wouldn't be 57-38-6 MICHIGAN.
